Physical and Chemical PropertiesColorless to light yellow liquid. Coconut and iris-like aroma and sweet beeswax-like flavor. The melting point of 10.5 deg C, boiling point of 178~180 deg C (1600Pa). Insoluble in water, soluble in ethanol, slightly soluble in ether. Natural products are present in the residue of fusel oil obtained from molasses.
